Tennant owes rent for 16 weeks and they have left without paying – Please Help?
We had a tenant who never paid any rent and while she was living she kept ‘fobbing’ us off that she’ll pay rent tomorrow or next month, we took her on face value and now she has vacated the property and left it in mess (have video for evidence) she signed a contract for 12 months but she left in 10 months. while she was living in the house, she never put out any rubbish for collection and it gathered and piled up until we discovered, and made us claim on home insurance meaning our premiums would go up next year, and as she did not pay any money, we believed she was staying for free!
I cant believe the amount of trouble we are in, The amount of stree she has given us, I would only think it twice before cursing it on our worse enemies!

Do you have a written (state approved) binding lease agreement? Did she sign it. If yes to both, then you can take her to court for the full money she owes you in unpaid rent and damages. It is as simple as that!
